I am leaving tomorrow afternoon for Qatar. It's hard to believe how fast this summer has gone by and that this will be my last day in Canada for awhile. Can't wait to start teaching and making a 'home' for myself there!
I will be living in "Al Khawr" (or Al Khor). It's about 50 kilometers north of Doha, which is the major city in Qatar. It used to be the centre of the pearl trading industry.
